Fisher Homesteader Plow

Finally, a personal use snowplow designed specifically for today's light trucks and SUV's. Make the most of your vehicle with the personal use snowplow for today's light trucks and SUV's. Weighing as little as 250 lbs., the Homesteader meets all federal and manufacturers' weight ratings for your vehicle, so there's no worry about overloading your front end like with heavier plows. Available in 2 sizes – 6' 8" & 7' 4".

Features:

Lightweight
Meets all federal standards and manufacturers weight ratings for your vehicle.
Poly blade
Durable polyethylene blade will not crack, and never needs painting. Even heavy wet snow rolls right off its slick surface.
Easy On/Off
Either drive into the attachment arms on the plow, or slide the Homesteader into the receiver brackets on your vehicle. Simply connect two pins, remove two jacks and plug in the electrical.
Hand-Held Controls
Raise, lower and angle the plow with the convenient hand-held control. Optional dash mounted "joystick" also available.
Clean Scraping
Exclusive "Scrape Lock" feature hydraulically locks the blade down for clean scraping action.
Trip Action
Heavy duty elastomer trip springs allow the blade to "trip" forward when it strikes an obstacle, just like the big plows, to protect your plow and your vehicle from any jarring damage.
Removable Brackets
The receiver brackets on your vehicle are removable, by simply pulling the pins, for optimum ground clearance when you're not plowing.
